I took my partner here for two nights this weekend to celebrate his 50th birthday. We stayed in a premium spa cabin and we were so impressed! The cabin was immaculately clean with modern furnishings. There is a kitchenette which was great and enabled me to cook dinner on our first night. The two heaters kept the cabin lovely and warm, along with the IXL heater in the bathroom. The spa was beautiful, positioned in the centre of the room and looked out over our own private view of the wilderness. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. All the boxes were ticked for us, privacy, luxury and beautiful surroundings. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing, the most delicious Tapas based on fresh Tasmanian produce. Highly recommended - we will definitely be returning.... hopefully to celebrate my 50th!

It was a long drive up the mountains, and all I wanted was sleep and warmth. The apartment had heaters in every room, and the beds were pretty comfy. Heating-lights can also be found in the bathroom. Microwave, fridge and induction cookers can be found in the kitchen too.
Up in the mountains, there was no signal with Vodafone. Only the reception has an internet connection; it is not routed to all chalet apartments. If you are travelling with teens, it is great for them to experience life without the internet, and how fun it is to have human interaction.
Staff were helpful at the reception! The place was clean too. From the reception, there are views of the Cradle Mountain. Great place to stay if planning to visit the Cradle Mountain!

Room Tip: Get rooms closer to the reception. I know some people cannot live without the internet.

We loved our stay. I had rung ahead to say we may be up a bit early in the day as we had a bub with us and they were happy to accommodate.
The spa unit was perfect. ( we knew about the brown water..just sounds healthier to me and we still used it :)
Gas fire worked a treat and we had a number of visitors from a possum to marsupials.
We could easily have stayed longer but there is always next time. Enjoy if you go!

We stayed here for two nights so that we could explore Cradle Mountain as much as possible. While the room is open and clean, it would get very cold for anyone sleeping in the back of the cottage as the heating was not sufficient. There is no Wi-Fi available which is understandable due to the location, however, there was no tv reception so we became bored very quickly. I would suggest packing a few movies to watch on your laptop.

We had a spa cottage and what a view, was best just sitting back in the spa watching the birds and just to relax, very friendly staff, no issues with anything, was well presented and clean, will be back again
