This is a nice little motel, the price was right and although not the ritz we were still impressed by the amenities. Bathroom is modern enough (awesome shower) and the room is well layed out for the size. Excellent location and friendly staff! Would recommend

First time here and would stay again. The rooms are adequate and well appointed. I like that it is central to everything so you don't need to drive everywhere, we could even walk to the cinema which was good.

We spent two nights at the Beachfront Voyager with a private balcony overlooking the water. Room was neat and clean with a large shower and bathroom sink and with the toilet wedged in between the two. The room had a comfortable couch and table with once chair. Balcony had a table with two chairs. Noise from a wedding reception across the road was not too loud and was definitely finished before midnight. Service was good. The downside was that smokers congregated outside our room and under the balcony.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas during our Tassie visit. Our room had a balcony over-looking the beach - great views and breeze. Room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of off-street parking. Guest laundry facilities available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant within complex had great dinner options. City centre and shops were within walking distance.
Being a smaller town there wasn't anything open on Christmas Day. The park was a great place to spend part of the day. Christmas night we walked up to view the fairy penguins come ashore.

Room Tip: Ask for beach view room

We stayed here for 2 nights and the beach front view was beautiful. It's a basic motel room facility but the view takes it to the next level. The stairs are at the back of each side of the facility so if you have front room it's a bit of task to carry the bags up the stairs an along the walkway. The only down side was on Saturday night when we came back from viewing the Penguins. Originally I thought the load laughing/yelling was coming from the Pub over the road but as got closer we realised it was the restaurant staff gathered under the entrance after closing time, laughing and reflecting on the evening. Being under the entrance the noise echoed throughout the Inn complex. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.
