I must admit when booking the property, I hadn’t quite realised how large and spacious it was! The booking process was quick and easy. Situated at the end of quiet close this detached fairly modern property is very quiet. It is, however, located in the centre of the village and a small shop is not far away.
The excellent sandy beach is about 10/15 mins walk away (although you can drive if you wish to pay the car park fee). It is also right on the Saltern Way – a great cycle route to Chichester, passing the harbour.
The property is actually a four-bedroom house, though one bedroom is closed off. The remaining three bedrooms are all large with more than sufficient storage space. Outside there is space for two cars in the driveway.
Pictures of property are very accurate and the property is very clean. I stayed during the heatwave and it’s probably the only time of year the conservatory was not a good idea. It catches the sun so it was rather like a sauna…
This property is ideal for couples and families and must be top of the list for anyone wishing to stay in the area. My only criticism is that communication was slightly lacking. The booking process requires a damage deposit and it would have been nice to have been told after departure that there were no issues and the deposit would be returned, rather than waiting the 10 days for it to appear on my account.
This house is absolutely lovely - the photos don’t show just how spacious and light it is. It is perfect walking distance to the gorgeous west Wittering beach but in a really quiet location. We spent 3 nights here and wish we had longer, we will definitely be back!
