I've visited once, thus far, and at lunchtime. It's a soup, sanwiches, toasties, cakes, scones & pastries establishment rather than a fried food cafeand not a full blown restaurant. Orders are placed inside at the counter, but items are brought to the table by the staff. My sandwich was made to order and was fresh & tasty, as was my slice of cake. The coffee was reasonably good (but not as good as served at Zeytin on South Street).
There is substantial seating inside. However, if intending to sit either just outside next to the front entrance or in the quadrant between Bay Tree and M&S, make sure that you inform the counter staff exactly where you will be sitting. It minimises any hot food going cold. If I visit Haywards Heath again and am in need of a light lunch, this establishment will be my first port of call.
