A group of 12 stayed for a family wedding - some bedrooms are very dated and urgently need refurbishment. Saying that the room was clean and the bed really comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent and the waiting on staff couldn’t do enough for us. 20 of our group ate at the restaurant after the wedding - the dining room was quite cramped having to accommodate our group but the service was good and the food really nice
Would stay again if the rooms were upgraded

Room tip: Road facing rooms are quite noisy as the windows are not double glazed

Thank you for taking the time to review us . We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay . We are a family run hotel and our rooms are all furnished individually , we are always updating aspects of the hotel but never want to lose our quirkiness . The barn where you sat for your evening meal is part of the 17th century original building and we always do our very best to seat partys together rather than on separate tables. . We do of course have other areas including our function room that seats up to a 90 guests . I will make sure to pass your comments on to the team who will be very pleased that you appreciated their hospitality skills .

Being a very fussy eater with specific food allergies I often feel disappointed after a meal out. However I certainly wasn't disappointed at the inglewood! The staff especially Tony were very friendly and accommodating, the pan fried sea bass was delicious and they were very helpful when I needed to change my potatoes which had butter on there was no fuss and this was done with my food bring replated. The children's enjoyed their food and those having carvery thoroughly enjoyed it!

With a party of 10 for a special birthday party it took over 1 hour 20 minutes to get a main meal in the restaurant having pre booked. The Restuarant seemed understaffed and bar meals seemed to be the priority. Very disappointing and unfortunately we cannot recreate this occasion so are left with tainted memories.

We were very disappointed to read your review . I can assure you that we take customer service very seriously and i have looked into each aspect of your review . Our chefs cook all of our meals from scratch and whilst it does seem to have taken longer than usual for your main courses it does take some time to seat everyone , give guests time with their menu , take the order and let the chefs prepare the starters serve them and then clear them . We do also serve bar meals which are prepared in the same kitchen but by a different chef , they tend to have shorter preparation time but each table is created in order. On the day in question we had our two senior staff on duty plus a new member of staff which is our normal amount for a saturday lunch time . I am sorry that you left feeling underwhelmed, i understand from reception that we have made an arrangement to someway make up for your disappointment .
