“Lovely little gem”
Reviewed 19 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Lovely conversion, very clean and well presented.
The owner Karen, left us a lovely goody basket, and fully stocked cupboards, tea coffee, cereals etc.
Dog friendly very close to lovely fields and the river Avon.
Only 4 miles from Stratford, and 10 minutes walk from the Bell , and 30 mins from the Four Alls , both serving excellent food and both have dog friendly outside dining, we will definitely go back.,

“Very Cosy”
Reviewed 23 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Stratford is a great place to stay for a short break. The little barn was great and Karen left us so many tasty bits to eat as well as milk, tea and coffee. It was all very well thought out and very clean.

Some lovely walks right from the door, although we didn't get a chance to walk very far with our little elderly dogs.

The local pub, The Bell Inn , was fantastic but portions are very large.

Percy's Barn is located in the very picturesque Welford on Avon. It is a comfortable compact studio property with lots of personal touches located literally 2 minutes from riverside walks. You can go towards either Barton or Stratford. There are sheep next to the river on the walk towards Stratford, so as we had the dog with us we tended to go towards Barton. There are 2 pubs within easy walking distance, the Bell and the Shakespeare Inn. Dogs are allowed in the garden at the Bell, and inside at the Shakespeare.

The kitchen was small but well equipped, and it was nice to have good quality cutlery and cutting knives. (We've stayed in places where the cutlery bends when you try to use it!) Karen had provided us with a lovely welcome basket, and other various essentials in the fridge. You will find everything you need including t. towels, a flask, food bags etc etc. The bed is very comfortable and there is a good hot shower. Once again personal touches abound, hand creams and lotions provided. There were garden chairs provided in the cupboard which could be taken down to the river. The internet and tv could be a bit intermittent at times but was not a major problem

There are lots of very nice accessible villages around and about and of course Stratford on Avon is only 7 miles away and has lots of parking areas easy walking distance to town. The recreation ground right by the river is just lovely and very dog friendly. Bourton on the Water and Chipping Campden in particular are very picturesque but be prepared for a lot of coaches and tourists; we actually couldn't park in Chipping.

All in all a very nice holiday. The countryside is so picturesque. In a week, we managed to touch up the counties of Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

Would definitely recommend.

“Lovely accommodation, great location”
Reviewed 19 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A really lovely rental. Beautiful, clean, quiet and with good access to walks by the river Avon by foot and Stratford-Upon-Avon, Honeybourne etc by car. Small but well-equipped kitchen apart from the usual decent non-stick frying pan. The owner very kindly provided a range of fresh and stored foods too, which were a wonderful and useful surprise. We were made to feel very welcome. Although only really for two they allowed us to bring our three year old, who also adored it. It's a lovely accommodation for a long weekend and we definitely hope to go back.
