Just returned from a holiday at Anstey Mills Cottage with my wife and two of my sons. Located down a little lane approx 3 miles from Dulverton. Greeted by the owner Doris with a cream tea which was lovely. Very clean - in fact spotless , nicely furnished (a pleasant change from last year's visit at Liscombe Farm near Tarr Steps where we had to spend several hours cleaning the cottage to be acceptable to live in ). Back to Anstey Mills Cottage - 3 large bedrooms including two doubles (one with a four poster bed en-suite) and a twin bedded bedroom. Ample toiletries provided and also fluffy dressing gowns. There is another bathroom with a bath on the first floor and shower and also a toilet / shower room downstairs. Kitchen / Diner again lovely spacious room and well equipped for all culinary requirements. There is a dishwasher with a separate utility room. Very large garden at the back of the property with garden furniture. Good views from the cottage. Parking available outside the property.Very peaceful location but not far from main roads to South Molton, Barnstaple, Brampton etc... Local walks available for the property. Wi-Fi provided and was fine. Mobile signal ok outside the property. The owner Doris lives a couple of doors down from the cottage who is a lovely lady and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is relaxing and you have everything- again a major improvement from our experience with Liscombe Farm. She even offered us body-boards when she found out we were going to the beach. We will definitely be going back to Anstey Mills Cottage next year. for our annual visit to Exmoor - now done 17 years. 6/5 rating!
