Next to a medieval Chantry from which it takes its name this tea room is beautiful. Staff are friendly and welcoming; service is prompt and as usual the food did not disappoint.

A lovely place to while away a Spring afternoon.

Please be aware that as you approach the Chantry that the road has suffered from this winters depredations and some of the pot holes are quite deep. Manageable if you drive cautiously.

Parking is available adjacent to the property and you are within walking distance of the village Church and Kilve Beach.

When you drive through Kilve heading towards Exmoor turn right before the village shop. This is a great stopping off place.

We visit this place regularly frequently and this time was no exception. We walk over to Kilve from Crowcombe and by the time we get here we are very ready for tea, ploughmans, soup and cream teas, which is what we had this time. We weren't quite sure if they would be open, as the weather was unbeliveably wet and miserable, but the lady of the house immediately opened the door ('we're always open!'), was really welcoming, ushered us into their covered seating area, and turned on a heater. She then went inside to make everything fresh - we had a ploughman's, a homemade soup, and two mini cream teas (it was a long walk!). Everything was very nice, and well worth the walk! Highly recommended. We will be back soon :)

A lovely place to stop by for an afternoon tea or ice cream. Home made scones with jam and clotted cream. After a nice walk by Kilve Beach a must for a cuppa as you drive by. Parking is available.

Walking the West Somerset Coast Path, we arrived at the tea rooms at start of business and were desperate for two things, a coffee and a loo. These tea rooms provided both and they were superb. To be honest we could not fault the place.

For years I have visited the Chantry for lunch or tea when going to Kilve beach . It is a venue for walkers or visitors and it is always pleasant to sit in the exceptionally pretty garden and be served with tea and scones or cake. It is a haven of peace and hopefully will continue to be there for years to come . The owners are hard workers who endeavour to make your visit enjoyable .
