A delightful country hotel well located to explore N wales and the border towns and cities. We stayed in one of the patio rooms which was cosy and comfortable - ideal in which to relax after strenuous tourist activity in Snowdonia etc prior to an excellent dinner on each of our 3 nights. Great to escape the cold comfort of the usual business hotels and enjoy a warmer kind of hospitality.
It is small scale but this is its charm - reception doubles as a bar which comes with some fine local beers and the wine list is sufficiently comprehensive and reasonably priced. The dinner menu is limited but catered for all of our tastes, (she who must be does not eat meat) and proved to be good quality food well prepared. (Breakfast was also excellent in both quality and range of choice.
Would recommend without hesitation.
