We stayed here for the airshow in fairford, when staying here youve got to understand its a 300 yr old building and has a few cosmetic issues, was met with a very friendly smile from kesh, was promptly shown to are rooms and told if we needed anything just ask, rooms were comfortable and clean, but obviously need some work, food smelt fantastic and being a chef myself top marks to the chef because the food was amazing,if you dont mind a few issues with cosmetic issues the hotel is great.never had any issues with hot water but kesh did explain that there was an issue with it,didnt have breakfast the first morning as left for airshow early,i had made a mistake on booking and had not ordered breakfast on one booking, but kesh told me dont worry we wouldnt have to pay extra for the second days breakfast,i wish them all the success in the venture, and ive already had disccussion with kesh about coming back next year for the airshow again

Room was double-booked, only found out at check-in at the bar. Given alternative room not suitable for our family of 4, and the use of another room which was on a fire escape route! Room was unbearably hot at night, and the noise from a 25th party going on that night kept us awake for hours. Complained next day and offered a £10 discount on room. Not an ideal place to stay with a young family.

Could not fault for the price. Bar area very nice, staff very friendly, and dinner was very good.

Room was spotless and very comfortable

If I was to stay in Witney again would not hesitate to rebook

I couldn’t imagine a better stay on a budget. If u expect the ritz, pay for the ritz

The proprietor and staff were very friendly and the downstairs of the hotel has been updated very well, to a high standard, unfortunately we did not have the time to sample the food in the restaurant but it certainly sounded very good.

We were disappointed with our deluxe room, as the room had been converter to allow for an en suite it left it rather tight to fit in the four poster bed with only full access from 1 side, the head board was dirty and the bathroom was musty. It is an old building so allowances need to be made, but the bathroom needs updating to call the room deluxe. It is quirky and top marks to the owners, but some further attention made be needed, i think some rooms may be better than others! The hotel has parking, as expected it is a tight fit in the car park and care is needed when leaving as it is a blind spot and the road is very busy from early morning to very late at night! The breakfast was brought to the table quickly and it was tasty and hot, it might be an idea to offer additional tea/coffee as you were not sure if you could ask for a refill. If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill, standard hotel than this is the one for you, i wish the owners well for the future

Stayed 2 nights. Hotel has an interesting access straight off the roundabout with limited parking, although to be fair we didn't have any problems. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Room was well equipped although bathroom was fairly small and shower could do with an upgrade. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was limited but met our needs. The chef does need to learn how to fry eggs though. Didn't have an evening meal so can't comment. Hotel is in easy walking distance to all shops, pubs and restaurants of which there are a good selection. Would use again if we needed to stay in Witney.
