“lovely cottage”
Reviewed 22 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We really enjoyed this comfortable, character cottage. Lots of attention to detail to ensure the comfort of the holiday makers. We really appreciated the chocolates and fizz on arrival. Only slight difficulty was the rather small shower.

Thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed your stay - we are very honest about the head height in the en suite shower as we like to manage our guests expectations, sounds like you had a great time regardless though and hope to welcome you back in the future

“Great location”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My wife and I are from Texas and vacationed in the UK July of 2016. Our last week was spent in Seahouses at the Old Granary.
We chose this as we felt it was better than a simple B@B or hotel room and were not disappointed.
The cottage is very clean and well appointed including a washing machine which came in handy after a prior two weeks of travel.
The Old Granary is about a 10 minute walk into town so it was easy to pick up supplies at the local Co-Op store as well as a Bakery and Butchers shop.
Boats leave Seahouses harbor for the Farne Islands as well as Holy Island. Bamburgh and Alnwick castles are within a short drive.
Thank you Sarah for a great time and also the bottle of wine you left to welcome us.
As we are from the US we will probably not be back again but if we ever decide to do so we would definitely stay here again.

“Perfect family holiday”
Reviewed 23 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I spent a wonderful five nights here with my husband and son. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. I mentioned it was my sons birthday and the owners left him a cake, card and present as well as a bottle of fizz for me! The cottage is beautiful and cosy. Short walk away from the centre and so calm at night. Can't fault anything at all about The Old Granary. Will definitely be returning. One of the best holidays we've ever had!

“wonderfully authentic”
Reviewed 25 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Would highly recommend this wonderfully authentic cottage. Just a short walk from Seahouses centre and a cosy bolthole to escape with all modern facilities as well as traditional touches of books and games. Reasonably priced too compared to other similar options in the village.

“A wonderful stay ....”
Reviewed 2 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The cottage was absolutely perfect, everything you could possibly ask for and in a very quiet location, yet only 10 minutes walk to Seahouses centre. Unfortunately a long weekend just isn't enough !! Thank you Sarah for all the extra touches, wine, sweets and treats for Wilson(the dog). The cottage, beaches, trip to Inner Farne, restaurants exceeded our expectations and we cant wait to return.
