From the moment we arrived, Julie and Terry went out of their way to help us with everything we wanted, they are perfect hosts.
We were very happy with our room, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. The en-suite was first class with a beautifull shower. the wi-fi system worked flawlessly and everything possible was done to make our visit comfortable. I would recommend this B&B as a base, to anyone who is taking a trip to Northumberland.
Thanks Julie & Terry, you made our stay very special

Room Tip: We stayed in room #1, it was first class.

Just got back to Canada after a short break in Northumberland and would like to thank Julie and Terry for being the perfect hosts at their beautiful guest house in an equally beautiful part of the world. Nothing was too much trouble for this wonderful couple who ran a home away from home to such a high standard it was only a pleasure to stay with them. The rooms were well appointed and all have private bathrooms supplied with robes, hair driers etc. We would recommend this guest house to all discerning travellers.

Did a long weekend here, we chose Julie and Terry because they had the friendliest email response when we enquired about availability. The accommodation was lovely, beautifully done and very comfy - we did get a nosy into all the rooms but got the newly converted garage to ourselves, everything you need (including small kitchen and living area.) The breakfasts were fantastic, can't remember last time I ate that much and they saw us through to teatime even with some long walks! This will be our first choice next time we're up that way.

Me and my husband took a short 3 day break in Seahouses and chose Regal House after reading the positive reviews on trip advisor.

We are a young couple so we used the guest house mainly as a base but our time spent there was brilliant.

The room was very clean with a spacious modern bathroom. The room itself was very nice and really comfy and cosy.

The breakfast was good and not too early as we like a little lie in especially after a few drinks.

The surrounding area is superb with plenty too do. Lots of nice little pubs open to a decent time. The excursions that visit the lighthouse and circle the puffin cliffs and seal island are really good and deffinately something too do when down there. We also visited Bamborough castle which had beautiful views and was interesting.

I would reccomend taking a trip to Seahouses as it is a superb area and Regal House was a perfect place for us.

Even before we arrived at Regal House, the owner, Julie called us to ask what time we were arriving to ensure the teapot was warm. Upon arriving, we found a lovely, warm new build house which has been lovingly converted into a B and B. The rooms are nice and cosy, with high quality pine furnishings, and the en-suite is lovely.
Julie is very accommodating and friendly, without being intrusive, leading to a very nice and private stay. Even when we asked whether it would be possible to check out at 3 p.m, it wasn't too much, and the breakfast is delicious!
Really can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Room Tip: The jacuzzi room is a little small, and you have to go over the corridor to get to your jacuzzi suite, but it really is beautifully done.
