We have visited Whitehouse farm several times... unicorn fest, winter wonderland and most recently their Halloween spooktacular. Our girls are 5 and 17mnths and the activities entertain them! entrance fees are value for money... Terror walk is better than some of the commercial events even making me jump! Pumpkin carving and Halloween games were so much fun with the staff enthusiasm at 100%! Their costumes and characters were great and the subtle themed decor around the farm was fun, with a "splattered witch" hunt to get the kids involved in. On top of all these added extras the picnic barn had games, arts n crafts and glitter tattoos and the animal show n tell was as fun as always. The animals even got a feed and pet. So much to do for all ages, I can not recommend this place enough, they've turned a farm into a family fun entertainment centre.

The under 8's loved this farm, the kids 8 and above got bored quickly. Great place, staff are lovely and there's plenty to do. There are toilet and food facilities and picnic areas. The animals are lush and you can pay for feed for them. There are play areas and parks for the kids

From tractor rides to tortoises... soft play to sausages rolls , the farms got it all from mini bird sanctuary , goats horses & meerkats . Cafe, restaurant , soft play , play ground , go-carts , tractor rides , plenty to keep kids amused and well worth the money spent .

What can I say this is probably the best farm centre we have been to as a family we were currently on holiday in Northumberland and just picked a leaflet up by chance advertising the farm it was our last day of our holiday and what a finish to our holiday our two children loved every minute of it we even had tears from my 3 year old girl as she didn’t want to leave at the end of the day
We have never been to a farm centre that was so clean and extremely well kept and all the animals were in great health and that’s coming from a veterinary surgeon I was extremely impressed with their health and surroundings in which they were kept
We arrived at 10.00am and didn’t leave till the farm closed
The staff were very helpful and accommodating and were excellent with the children
After eating in the cafe we were all well fed and watered the place was spotless in and all the tables were cleared very quickly so it always looked clean and tidy
My son loved the pedal go-karts and so did I as I had a sneaky go when no one was looking
My family loved the farm and made a great ending to the holiday and would definitely recommend to visit
Thanks for a great day out

Thank Matt M

Wow what a glowing review, thank you so much for your comments we will be sure to share this with our team. For our animal keepers this is more than 'just a job' they all care deeply about the animals so in particular the comments regarding their care and them being well kept really will mean a lot to the team here. We are so pleased we helped your holiday end on a high, and hope if you are in Northumberland again, you will pop in and see us.

We visited on a coldish day last week and having paid nearly £40 for a family of four we were left sorely disappointed. The farm is aimed at younger children but if there had been more animals our 10 and 12 year olds would have enjoyed it regardless. A frisbee golf game with 2 old boards in a field summed up the place really. The goats and smaller animals, which you can hold in specified sessions, were great as was the feeding demo we saw with the meerkats but the other animal attractions were disappointing- 2 horses in a field, a few cows and non existent llamas. We enjoyed seeing the piglets but for the entrance price you’d think they’d keep the barns in better condition. The main issue is the price which varies depending on when you go and we went at the most expensive time, unfortunately! The main plus of the visit was the lovely food in the cafe, which was fairly reasonably priced- but that’s not really enough of a reason to go!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review, we are disappointed to hear you were left disappointed following your visit, we are so passionate about what we do here and our visitors leaving with a positive experience is extremely important to us.

We are a little surprised you commented on a lack of animals, we have a good choice of animals on site and of a huge variety- our petting barn houses rabbits, guinea pigs, skinny pigs, rats, mice, goats, parrots, meerkats, marmosets, rare chicken breeds, and our critter cavern, which hosts 9 varieties of lizards, 4 snakes, and a large variety of insects- including a scorpion, a tarantula and 4 varieties of stick insects. Our owl area has a Kestrel, a Tawny frogmouth, and 7 species of Owl- and our aviary houses cockatiels, budgies and quails. We also have Jersey calves, pigs and piglets in our farm sheds, and many animals housed in our outdoor paddocks, from standard farm animals such as sheep and cows, to more exotic animals such as wallabies and llamas. We notice you mention the llamas, they are found on our outdoor walkway. We are sorry if you missed this area, and we hope you can visit us again soon to fully experience the farm.

We are also in the process of arranging some very exciting updates to the farm including new animals and lots of new play areas too, so you will see the farm evolving over the coming months. Its a very exciting time for the farm.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your meal in our cafe.

If you would like to discuss your visit with us further please email dawn@whitehousefarmcentre.co.uk and we will be happy to discuss your concerns further. Feedback like this is so important to help us grow and improve, we value our customers feedback and we are dedicated to providing excellent service to our visitors and helping everyone to have an enjoyable day with us.

We had so much fun today! This is by far the best farm park we’ve ever visited. Was so much hands on things to get involved in, and the programme of activities was perfectly spaced - we got to do everything! The magic show was also a big hit! The play areas are fantastic and all the staff friendly and helpful and toook the time to speak to all visitors. Can’t recommend this place enough, wish it was in our local area.

I have not heard about this place before until one of my colleagues introduced it to me as a great place for kids to be.
It didn't disappoint.
My wife the kids and myself.
We saw different animals, I mean real animals(meerkat, unicorn, deer, python, owl, parrot, etc that we usually see on TV.
There were loads of fun for adults and kids. Go kart riding, tractor ride, animalistic game etc.

We went there with grandchildren aged 5 and 7. They were there for 6 hours and came away exhausted but happy. Price for two adults and two children was £39.00 (it included some animal food), but the activities were diverse and most were free. The children's magician was particularly entertaining. All in all a good place for the day, so long as its not pouring with rain. (Plenty of things to do if there's the odd shower) Well organised with plenty of parking space. Look for brown signs on a1 just north of Stannington. Take the Morpeth south turn off from A1.
