“EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY”
Reviewed 25 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Just stayed here with a large group doing the C2C. Excellent spot, clean, comfortable, roomy, everything you need. Lovely guy that runs the place, friendly and would do anything for you. Beds were gorgeous in the 2, 2 bedded rooms. Lads said the bunks were fine. Beautiful views. A very steep walk down to the pub, we were lucky we had a non drinker who was our taxi. Breakfast was spot on, we made our own coffee / tea / toast / cereal, then the guy comes in with all the cooked breakfast. Again gorgeous food.

“Truly Stunning location”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Really Stunning location - the Kids loved it! Plenty to do in the area.

The owners were very helpfull and accomodated us very quickly. The heating was a bit of an issue on the first night, however it didn't dampen the excitement of the kids/adults. Kitchen is very well equipped and two large bathrooms very useful

Will definately return in the future!

“MARVELLOUS”
Reviewed 2 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at The Old School House. Owner Helen was very welcome and accommodating to our needs. The setting was stunning made even better by the huge amount of snow which made it even more fun.
The facilities were spot on and the house was very warm and cosy.
We also visited the ski slope and the local Allenheads Inn which was a homely and very friendly place. The locals were lovely and we had a great meal. we would all love to return soon!!
