This is a little hidden gem of a tearoom. It's not cheap but the afternoon tea is amazing. We had The vegetarian Vera Lynn which is very filling, the scones are first class. You don't have to have tea, (my daughters choose vanilla milkshake and hot chocolate.) Brewing the tea by the sand timer adds to the experience though.Service is fab and all the pictures, ornaments and nicnacs transport you straight to the 1940s. Park in the swimming pool car park, walk past the beautiful church and pop into the museum next door if you have time. Love this place.
