We walked through here on the way to the town centre. Used to the hustle and bustle of families during enjoying the golf, boating pond and swings and roundabouts in the summer, apart from 1 or 2 dog walkers and a single jogger, we could enjoy the gardens on a warm, blustery day. Worth a visit at any time of the year.

My kids have now grown up, more or less. When they were little this was always the first place we landed when visiting Filey. it's a little piece of the seaside of yesterday. There are the same motorised scooters and boating lake, crazy golf and trampolines, which have been there for as long as I can recall. The cafe only accepts cash and there is no WiFi. The play equipment is quite modern and on as good day always attracts crowds of families. It is still a very feel - good space in a beautiful coastal town.

A nearby cafe, toilets, boating lake, trampoline's, mini golf and occasional special event (sea cadets, lifeboats etc). Car park is nearby and a possibility of free parking on the main road. For those adults that have children that play pokemon, there is a gym and a couple of pokestops. And for those children that have parents or grandparents that play pokemon, the same applies ;)

We were in Filey a couple of years ago and visited this lovely park and played crazy golf and putting so on our return this year we called again and once again spent a lovely afternoon here we played both putting and crazy golf they were very reasonably priced as is the cafe. The park is well maintained and well laid out it overlooks the sea and has lots of benches to sit and admire the view it is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Filey.

I used to live on Filey but haven’t visited for many years. Our favourite place when the children were small was Glen gardens so I was really delighted to re visit. It’s right at the south end of Filey and is a lovely traditional park. It’s a nice area of grass perfect for ball games, frisbee or having a picnic. The park is punctuated with sculptures of different animals which the kids will love. Great for picture opportunity’s. There is a small , quite basic crazy golf, some little scooters which currently cost 20p which some 8 to 10 year olds were loving. There’s also a trampoline area and boating lake but these weren’t open so maybe they only open during school holidays and weekends. The play area has several pieces of equipment..a slide, swings roundabout and climbing frame. The cafe on the park is excellent and good value for money. We had a pot of tea with four cups in and a piece of apple pie and cream each for under £8. The pie was delicious. They do lite bites and a good selection of cakes and scones. The service was quick and efficient. You can sit inside or out so suitable for all weathers. This is a little gem in Filey if you fancy a change from the glorious beach then I would recommend this. It’s ideal for any age as it’s a great place to sit quietly and let the world wash over you or have fun with your kids or grandkids.

Great to see a more traditional park so well maintained and being enjoyed by all. Lots of space, a wonderful playground, boating lake and crazy golf. Very impressed and great to wander through from the large adjacent car park.

Having lived in filey for a few years & having a dog I know the place pretty well, Glen gardens is a lovely big area within easy walking distance of the town centre ,there is a play area for kids (swings etc) toilets (clean) a boating area, mainly a large grassy area ideal for kids to run around, good place to picnic, there is access to the beach by way of some steps & gradient footpaths, dogs are allowed, there is limited on street parking & large car park almost opposite. There are some lovely views to be had of filey bay.
PLEASE NOTE. This was all correct some 2 years ago & I wouldn't think it has changed very much.

We walked through here on the way to the town centre from where we had parked on West Avenue. It was busy, full of families enjoying the sunshine. The gardens are well laid out, with a children's park, boating lake, cafe, crazy golf, pitch and putt, trampolines and picnicking area all spaced out so it did not feel crowded. Add to this, some lovely wooden sculptures dotted around the park, a lovely place to spend a couple of hours
