There was a little misunderstanding at the beginning of our booking which meant that we had actually booked the wrong dates and shown up on different dates that we thought we had booked.
Andrew got through to me and apologised profusely (It could have happened to anyone and was a misunderstanding from both sides). He was absolutely lovely and tried everything to get me the keys and find out if it was still available. (He doesn't live near the property).
Anyway, he called and told me he had a lady called Hannah bringing the keys to me but she would be an hour and a half as she lives that far away. Hannah then called and confirmed. She was also absolutely lovely and when I collected the keys from her, she explained everything about the property and was really professional and friendly. We had our dog with us and we felt absolutely at ease in this home with him. He's a large mastiff/staffie mix and he loved it - lots of room!
The property was clean and tidy and exactly what we paid for.
We left Hannah and Andrew a bottle of wine and a Thank you card as they both made our stay perfect.
Anyone can be brilliant hosts and properties, but its when small mistakes are made (by online booking systems) and how people deal with that mistake that make them brilliant at customer service.
Thank you guys! You made our weekend :)
