Just spent 3 weeks at the Falcon Inn and loved every min.! It is a traditional English pub/hotel but with a twist. The landlord Jad Otaki is Lebanese and the menu in the restraurant refects this. While there is plenty of English food and a nice selection of fish on offer every night, the real treat for me was the Lebanese dishes! Delicious!! They offer both meat and vegetarian options which really set it apart from other pub/restaurants in the area. The service was second to none. One night when a colleague of mine arrived after the restaurant was closed, Jad whipped up a Spanish Omlette and some couscous - just for him! Breakfast- either Continental or full English- is included. I also arrived late for breakfast once but was still served toast and tea. One night the restaurant was booked to capacity but Jad still managed to to find a table for us. As he said, he would never let us go hungry! Set in a small picturesque village, the Falcon Inn looks like a traditional English pub but offers all the modern conveniences. Free Wi-FI is available in the pub/restaurant as well as a private function room above the pub. It is also worth mentioning that there is a lovely beer garden at the back of the pub - perfect for a drink on a warm summer evening. The accomodations cannot be faulted. The bedrooms are located in 2 buildings to the rear of the pub. One building is a converted schoolhouse, the other a converted stable block. Our room was spacious with satellite TV and full bath. The housekeeper learned quickly that I liked to sleep in and never arrived at my room before noon. The area offers great public transportation with bus service offered 24/7. I obviously loved this place and hope to return again and again. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The perfect find, located in the heart of a neat small village this is the hotel with somthing different. The accomodation is unique in style and class, My room was clean and full of the character of the pub / village. The service was second to none, the Bar manager Darren couldnt do enough for us and the landlady certainly made us feel welcome. The entire place has a local friendly atmospher, full of life and character, we felt like part of the family. The food was excellent with a whole range of traditional english food all cooked fresh, not fancy but good quality english food, in what I can only describe as a step back in time. This was a perfect find and I would recommend this hotel, and will certainly be returning when I am next in the area.

  • Liked — Character of place, and welcome we got
  • Disliked — Odd door Locks!
  • Tips/Secrets — Enjoy the feel of the place!

I work for a hotel so I know where things can go wrong. The service was fantastic, I was even given a lift into Warwick at the end of my stay.
The rooms are a new-build on the other side of the Falcon Inn car park. My double room was very spacious and had a fair sized en-suite with a window.
The room had everything you could need including satellite TV (unfortunately mine wasn't tuned in, but this was easily rememdied).
The breakfast was great and served in the restaurant part of the pub.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was made to feel welcome and you could never fault the service.
