Although this has been here for some time it was my first visit following recommendations from several friends.

I was not disappointed. Very nicely converted old warehouse, friendly attentive staff and more importantly very good value for money.

I went for lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed our meals, well prepared and quickly served although having gone early it was not busy, although it had filled up by the end of our stay.

I had the hot lamb ciabatta, served with a side salad; it was delicious with plenty of lamb which was very tender. The menu was very varied with lots of specials being served. Although no children with us at the time, I noted that the menu for them also included several choices at reasonable prices.

I had wondered if the height and structure of the building would have made it quite cool but it was nice and warm and airy.

Just a short walk from town if on foot, possibly a little difficult to find if not been before and from out of town.

All in all a good venue for lunch for us, without needing to drive. We will certainly visit again.

After a previous failed attempt to find this restaurant, we eventually discovered it exactly where it is described, but still not easy to spot in rainy conditions when finding a place to park is uppermost in your mind. The signage is, like the restaurant itself, understated.
It was well worth the effort, though. We arrived on a dismal Sunday and hadn't booked. Because a party booking was happening at the same time, we were politely told that food orders weren't being taken for another 20 mins., and asked, if we chose to stay, if we would like to wait with a drink upstairs. We waited. The menu was well balanced with an interesting wine list A reputation for good pizza ensured a good selection, though we chose a baked Camembert to share for our starter and boeuf bourgignon and lamb navarin for mains. The starter was certainly big enough for two, perfectly baked and presented. Both mains were equally pleasing. The meat was tender and lean, the sauce beautifully tasty. We were too full to have dessert.
The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. The bill held no surprises. We felt that we had had excellent value for our money

Great food - varied menu, French, Italian etc. The place itself is a converted warehouse and has been done to perfection. Well heated and decorated, airy and feels spacious even though it's not such a big place.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and were perhaps a bit more unique and 'of character' than some of the chain pubs that Burnley and Pendle has so many of. We enjoyed chatting to them and hearing about this new start-up.
My wife and I were literally walking past this place and did not regret our choice. It was such a pleasant surprise and the food was SO good! The prices are EXTREMLY reasonable for food and ambience of such high quality. Can't wait to go back again.
Please support this lovely place so that we can all keep returning!

Lovely Bistro with excellent service and great tasting food. Came here for my daughters 18th birthday celebration and wasn't disappointed. Staff were very attentive and helped make the meal in to a great experience.

Portion size was about right, quality of the ingredients was excellent.

Will definitely be returning.
