“First visit to Whitstable”
Reviewed 1 January 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Found Blue Skies easily and noted the large Tesco store after leaving the motorway into Whitstable.Parked easily and obtained the key without problem from the Keysafe outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the packet of biscuits and fresh milk to complement the tea and coffee on offer and were very impressed with the equipment provided such as an iron and ironing board and hairdryer, things we'd not checked before booking. The layout of the property was unusual with the kitchen/dining/sitting room between the 2 bedrooms at either end of the building and the second bedroom described as an adult bunk bed room was not present in the photos of the property so we had no idea how appropriate this room would be for our party but it was thankfully not a problem.Outside the second bedroom appeared to be the Crab & Winkle Way,a former railway line linking Canterbury but now a cycle and walking route.Whitstable town centre/harbour was a short 10 minutes walk away and the High Street surprised us with it's length as we expected a tiny quaint centre which it was in part just bigger than expected. The rest of our group stayed at another property in the High Street but the distance was not a problem. We had a lovely day in nearby Canterbury and then carried on to Dover to cross to France/Belgium for the rest of our holiday. The owners Karen and Mark looked in on us during our visit to check all was good and we were happy customers. My only observation was that a sign in the kitchen instructed us to empty the waste bin at check out and dispose of it in the large wheelie bin outside however this bin was almost full and seemed not to have been emptied in a while but overall we would certainly return here if visting Whitstable again

“Quiet, comfortable and well located”
Reviewed 28 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This was the ideal place to stay for our mini break to Whitstable. The newly built, house is nicely located and in walking distance from the beach and main town. It is simply and tastefully decorated on a seaside theme, very clean and with all the necessary kitchen appliances and equipment you need. Little touches like tea, coffee, biscuits, washing up liquid, cloths, and hand soap were unexpected items but very welcome. The bed was very comfortable and the place was so quiet that we slept really well the whole time we were there.
