“Good location”

Very well located in the High Street of this interesting seaside town. Good range of local amenities nearby (especially the excellent "Black Dog" micro pub). Off-road parking is available but access to the flat is restricted by means of a narrow fire escape. Flat is a little frayed at the edges and not as clean as we would have liked, particularly the shower and WC. Heating works well (The gas boiler service sticker date appeared to be from way back and since no CO alarm was evident we decided to switch it off when sleeping).
With the price in mind, we would recommend this flat with conditions.

“Fantastic location”
Reviewed 15 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

If you want to visit Whitstable then this location is ideal. Easy walking distance to town and the beach and harbour. It is the perfect size for two. We only stayed one night so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked with all the necessities. It is a little old fashioned which does add to its charm. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is at the back of the property and is nice and quiet. Downsides, the parking space is tight for larger vehicles but not impossible. The shower is grubby and needs a good clean, easily solved. We couldn't try the breakfast downstairs as we are early risers and opened too late for us on a Sunday sadly. The stairs up to the flat are narrow and not particularly well light especially when going down.

“Excellent location”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My partner and our 6month old baby stayed here for a very sunny August weekend. The location is perfect, in amongst all the quirkey shops and restaurants and literally minutes from the beach. The flat was well equipped and had a homely feel...very comfy bed! The style was quite dated but charming. Was quite noisy outside in the evening, but great to people watch!!! The bedroom is situated at the back though so quieter. We had breakfast in the shop downstairs which was lovely. Steve was very helpful and accommodating. Overall great place to stay.
