This holiday let was perfect from the start and we cannot wait to return for another holiday. Great communication was had with the owner from the booking process to our arrival. The links that Roma had for the ferry was also very helpful.
Where to start with the house...the house was amazing a real home from home. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a massive family holiday and was very child friendly. On arrival the home was absolutely spotless and had every utensil, pot/pan you could ever need. The addition of the iPod dock and DVD player alongside an excellent range of dvds was a lovely bonus. In additional, the garden fully equipped with games and sun lounges was lovely to come back to and relax in after a busy day sightseeing. A real perk to this house has to be the location and amazing views. Beautiful hills and farms are fantastic to wake up to each morning and watching the cows, chickens and trackers had the little ones chatting for hours. The welcome pack on arrival was also a lovely touch and everyone loved the homemade preserves.
During our stay we also had an amazing caterer, Suzanne, come and cook us a spectacular three course meal. This was suggested by the owner and I cannot recommend this enough. Delicious home cooked food added an extra special touch to a very special holiday.
Thank you Roma for making or stay so welcoming and comfortable, we cannot wait to return for or next holiday.
Had a lovely week in this house, views are great and roma and Martin are very welcoming would highly recommend very spacious there were 10 of us and we didn't feel under each others feet would go back in the future.
We had a wonderful week at the three gables. There was plenty of space for 8 adults and three young children. Everything had been thought of (cots, toddler bed, high chairs etc) which made for a very relaxing stay. It was an easy drive to the beaches and tourist attractions. We hope to return!
We cannot rate this property highly enough. It really is a little slice of heaven on earth. It is in the most glorious position, beautifully positioned in the middle of West Wight surrounded by exceptional countryside.
The house reflect these high ideals. It is beautifully laid out with lots of space for large families all focusing on the spectacular views. Yet there are ample bathrooms and bedroom spread across the house so we did not disturb each other.
The real delight was the owners who were helpful and friendly and really had thought of everything the house is peppered it has thoughtful added extras which really made the stay so delightful.
8 adults (4 couples) along with a one year old and a dog.
We had a short stay over New Year.
It was excellent that each couple had a bathroom to themselves, and as two bedrooms are on the ground floor it doesn't feel cramped or like you are on top of each other!
Lovely welcome hamper on arrival and friendly & helpful owner.
Fantastic garden would be lovely in the summer - gorgeous countryside views. Fully enclosed.
The house is well equipped and tidy. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Large dining table and plenty of space.
There are a couple of walks accessible from the house, once you navigate through the country lanes. There is a holiday park a few houses away - possible that you can use their swimming pool as a day visitor perhaps? They also have a small children's playground.
Can also have a (muddy!) walk to a lovely country pub.
