We did this open top bus tour whilst visiting the Old Gaffers Festival in Yarmouth. The 1 hour, hop on, hop off tour goes via The Needles Park, up to the Old battery and past various local attractions. The views are spectacular and the ride itself is quite eventful with the wind in your face and ducking tree branches. It all adds to the fun!
open top bus ride with a difference, catch it in yarmouth and head off to freshwater bay, then off towards the highdown inn, finally heading to alum bay and onto the needles, the views are great, a bit breath taking if its windy up on the needles, and you can get on and off any where on the route, it then heads back to yarmouth via totland bay and colwell, well worth the journey.
this is a great day out a must if your in the isle of wight so much to do take a ride on the chair lift it cost £4.00 and there is so much for kids to do a nice place to spend a few hours
This is the best way to visit the Needles if you are using public transport, with a regular service and a taped commentary en-route for those who are interested in the history of the area.
This is a very good tour, worth the money and great value. The views are also spectacular ,great photgraphic scenes .
The needles breezer on a hot sunny day is amazing. Great views and trivia and you can stop off at the needles to take a look around and take pictures. You can pay to go into the national trust part to get an even better view. The only down side was getting whacked in the face with a branch even though I followed the announcers safety instructions. Otherwise it would defo get 5/5.
