The Steppes Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 1 Lugwardine B&B and Inns
Certificate of Excellence

1 LOCATION: This B&B is located at the very end of a lovely road. The houses surrounding it instantly give you a positive impression. The area is nice and well maintained. It was easy to find with a SatNav, I would advise anybody without a SatNav to take a map. 2 BUILDING: The House is very nice. It's very well looked after. The B&B rooms are actually accessible from the outside of the house. It's a real plus. It doesn't give you the impression of invading somebody's else property. 3 WELCOME: Great welcome. We felt home. the owners are charming. 4 ROOMS: What a lovely decoration! Well done to the owners. 5 BATHROOM: Same as for the rooms. 6: DINNER: n/a. However; I can comment on the breakfast which was very good. 7 OVERALL: I highly recomend this B&B. I have over 70 reviews on tripadvisor and I am now a trusted "Gold" member. Trust me, you won't regret visiting this place.

I stayed here whilst on a business course in Hereford. Lin and Martin were great hosts, friendly, welcoming and Lin makes a fantastic breakfast!!!! Great accommodation which was well priced compared to other B&B's and Hotels and a lovely part of Hereford. Highly recommended to anyone whether business or holiday. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just enjoyed a superb weekend break at this fantastic b and b. Situated just 3 miles from Hereford yet tucked away in a peaceful, pretty village. Our bedroom and ensuite were spotlessly clean. The beds (which were very comfortable) had crisp white linen, the shower was terrific as were the huge bath towels. Great attenetion to detail such as fresh milk in the fridge in the room and a very well stocked hosptitality tray. Breakfast was cooked to perfection by Martin and we were attended to by Lin where all our needs were catered for. It is so refreshing to find a place where service, room quality and a friendly atmosphere still matter so much. Thanks for making us all so welcome, so comfortable and so well fed!

We arrived at The Steppes to a warm welcome from the family pet lamb. The place is lovely with the chickens and the other animals roaming around the garden. The room was lovely with everything you needed and the bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was served in the kitchen/verandah and was very nice indeed. It was a pleasant change to be able to walk across the fields to the local pub for our evening meal too. My only comment is that I would really have loved to sit outside the room as the weather was so good, but there is only one two seater bench for guests to use in the garden. Otherwise I would recommend The Steppes wholeheartedly.
