Went because of the wave pool and slide but neither opperational when we were there. Whole place needs a upgrade / deep clean / New lighting.
Felt like it should be somewhere great that's been left to deteriorate.
Wouldn't go again.

The leisure centre has slowly being going down hill for a while now. The female changing rooms are an absolute disgrace they are very dirty and the toilets are especially bad. There were also boys using them that are well over the recommended age of 8 and as there are only two cubicles you can use this is embarrassing for many.
The male changing rooms for swimming are currently the gym changing rooms which means they are far too small and inadequate. All the locker keys are for gym use so your unable to wear it on your wrist whilst in the pool. Any more than three families using the area means you have to wait for space to get changed. The toilets in the men's changing are also not up to a decent quality.
Whilst the well overdue building work is being done maybe they should offer off peak prices at all times as some sort good will gesture.

Where do you start really? Letchworth leisure centre has always been in need of some TLC; I've grown up in this area and this place was even out of date 20 years ago believe me when I say NOTHING has changed!
Whilst I understand that a facelift is expensive - there is nothing to stop the staff here grabbing a mob and bucket more frequently than once a month! The public changing rooms are filthy, hair/dirt/grime everywhere (I reluctantly swim here weekly!) and I’ve seen the same nasty old plaster in the corner of the room for nearly a fortnight!

The staff on the front desk are often rude youngsters who make you wait whilst they finish their conversation about the latest episode of Big Brother before you can pay for your session - I completely get that it's just a Saturday job for them but come on! I don’t think I’ve ever had a smile from any of them!

My final gripe comes with the swimming lessons, which in themselves are fine – but planned in such a bad layout that public swimming is quite difficult, often fighting for space with other people – it would be better if they allowed all of the childrens swimming up one end rather than smack in the middle of the pool!

all in all, this place could really do with a big overhaul - management need to address the cleanliness issues as for the cost of the place it's pretty disgusting!

I recently joined this gym, my wife had been going for over a year now and I thought it was time for me to join. There are plenty of things to do and enough equipment to go round. The staff are always very helpful and very polite. There is always a member of staff in the gym. Changing rooms are fine and there free, the leisure centre is currant having a massive facelift which can only benefit it even more. There is plenty of parking and the opening hours are good as well.
