“Great Stay”
Reviewed 13 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Great location close to the New Forest water park where we had been wakeboarding all day for my Girlfriends Birthday. Lovely outlook on to the meadows, very light and bright house, plenty of space for our group of 8 the beds were also super comfy we all slept very well.
Unfortunately the Hot Tub heater had broken so we couldn't use it but Ian has promised a £95 refund (this is the additional fee for the use of this service) .
The property could do with a little finishing off here and there but this did not affect our stay at all, will definitely be back again soon and will probably rent both properties next time!
would have been a 5 star but the loss of the hot tub made it a 4.

“Great Weekend!!”

Just returned from a great weekend with family. The accommodation was very clean upon arrival and had all the latest technical gadgets. A little disappointed that the main Jacuzzi did not work but an attempt to fix the jacuzzi wash made by an electrician the next morning (unfortunately it was a fault with a part in the jacuzzi) We were able to use the smaller one at Forest Cabin next door. The children had lots of fun building, playing and Using the Xbox in the main lounge. We were celebrating birthdays and it was great to have a lovely cottage with great weather in a great location. Thanks for a Great a Weekend!!

“Great value for money.”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

There are two houses which touch - but are basically detached. The larger one Forest Meadow has 4 double bedrooms 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms. There is a large open plan kitchen/dining room/living room with views over the 3 acre garden. There is parking for up to 6 cars. The smaller unit Forest Cabin has 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and 1 shower room and also has a comfortable kitchen/lounge/diner. Both units have wood burning stoves.
For us the best feature was the excellent beds and bedding. Top quality mattresses, toppers, linen and duvets and pillows made for the best nights sleep that we have ever had when staying away from home.
Both properties have Sonos in every room and flat screen TVs. The TV in the main house has a 55in screen. There is Xbox connect with a very extensive collection of games to play - suitable for all ages. My 3 year old grandson loved the Lego game and Sonic car racing.
It is great having the large garden. The hot tub is about 30ft from the house which apparently has been a problem for some users - not us. The biggest drawback of the house is that it is a tiny bit remote. The nearest shop is about 1 mile away as is the nearest pub. Although it is very close to the 3 Lions - this is only really a restaurant. On the other hand you are so close to some stunning countryside.
We had a small issue with equipment which the owner dealt with immediately. There are still some minor bits of decoration which need to be finished - but that should happen very quickly. Following the re-configuration internally some of the light switches end up in odd places - but so what? you get used to it.

Lovely location very close to many nice places to visit. A nice outlook from the lounge. Large rooms with very comfortable seating and fabulously comfortable beds.
Clean and tidy bathrooms with loads of very hot water.
We had some cosy evenings with the wood burning stove going whilst watching the very large tv, cinema style.
