Excellent hotel staff very proffesional nice clean rooms and a prompt book in service. Ask for room 39 brilliant. We stayed for 3 nights from the 24/3/2012 untill 27/3/2012. Nothing was to much trouble. Only let down was beakfast at TGI fridays hopeless having to chase staff for basic items ....spoons cutlery mugs...eggs not cooked properly. We pre booked breakfast for the 3 days. But no problem told premier staff and got refund no hassle. Apparently they let them down quite often. Tip for breakfast come out of car park turn left down the side of outlets at the bottom fantastic cafe cooked breekie half the price. Also full cooked dinners £4.99. Open 7 days a week. Maybe premiere ought to link there breakfast with this cafe!!!!!!

Room Tip: 2nd floor room 39

I recently stayed for a couple of nights whilst working at Whitely. The room was comfortable and the hotel is well situated, with Southampton, Fareham and Portsmouth within easy reach. however, the reason i was compelled to write this is because the night staff, James in particular did an excellent job of being friendly and helpful. When getting back from work a kind but unobtrusive 'how was your day?' was very welcome and he couldn't do enough to make myself and other guests feel welcome. Also as the hotel is only 2 floors it wasn't too busy at all. breakfast at TGI Fridays was good quality and as with every Premier Inn the selection of breakfast was excellent!

Each time I stay at Premier Inn I am impressed, this hotel was no exception. Friendly welcome, two rooms close together, well maintained and clean. This hotel really has everything you need for a short stay. Beds were very comfortble and despite our stay being over the New Year we slept soundly with no noise from either the outside or other guests. What really sets Premier Inn apart, including this Premier Inn, is the frendly attitude of their staff - I really dont know how they do it because service here is better than many of the five star hotels I have stayed in. Highly recommended.

When we arrived the night staff, James was very helpful, caring and professional. Full marks to him representing Premier Inn.
The room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and fresh (apart from the shower curtain, which smelled mouldy - but not a major moan).
The only complaint was that the pillows available (even with spares) were very poor and extremely unsupportive and as we were staying for four nights, felt it necessary to purchase a couple of new firm, foam pillows from the nearby Dunelm Mill.
Although we didn't eat breakfast at TGI Friday, we went in for a nightcap - the service was abysmal with only one member of barstaff on to serve all and prices are extortionate. Well over £5 for a glass of warm white wine, £3.50 for a pint of lager and don't ask for a pint of bitter, as they don't sell beer!
No complaint with the hotel, though and we will be going back again.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the back of the hotel and it was quiet with no noise at all.
