“A great place for a week's holiday”
Reviewed 22 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Had the good fortune to spend a week using Merryweathers as a base for a party of 15. It has many great features - best of all it's a very well appointed house and has all the touches that some holiday homes perhaps lack.
It's well located for exploring Sussex and Kent; Camber Sands, Rye, nearby Bedgebury, Bewl Water and a whole fistful of various heritage sites as well as local walks.
The gardens are great: a sunny terrace is ideal for an afternoon livener and range of barbecues are available to accompany as the evening rolls in. Easy access to local pathways means you can walk to nearby Flimwell and Ticehurst.
There are also some very good eating spots nearby - lots of decent pubs (The Bell in Ticehurst and The George Inn in Robertsbridge) are worth a visit.
The owner is very organised, friendly and most helpful with questions both before and after bookings. Would definitely recommend.

“The best time Ever”
Reviewed 7 September 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We arrived at the house early and the owner was there cleaning she was very kind and hospitable. The house was immaculate Everything was amazing. Ideal for the large family party we were about to have. Every thing was there for us and plenty of it.
The views are beautiful from the rear of the house. It has a large garden where we were able to play rounders and various other garden games.
It was a huge success and I think a lot of the success was because of the house.
