We had a quite long walk from Aldeburgh to Leiston and trawled up and down the various streets of Leiston a couple of times before venturing into this tiny cafe. We had rucksacks, walking boots and various other gear but were made so welcome by the lovely lady behind the counter (who must have seen how tired we were as she offered to come and serve us!) The food is fresh, delicious and oh so so reasonably priced. I had soup of the day which was scrumptious and came with a huge hunk of bread. Tea and coffee were good quality and served beautifully in the tiny seating area. I just couldn't resist the Mediteranean Spice cake ...... and it didn't disappoint.
We were bowled over at what one woman, one tiny space and a whole lot of determination can achieve. Keep up the great work.

A lovely little cafe, went for tea and cake and wasn't disappointed. Would definitely recommend the white hot chocolate, was delicious and actually tasted like melted white chocolate unlike Costa and their disappointing white water hot chocolate. The selection of cakes were incredible- didn't know what to choose but went for a scone with cream and was delicious.

Called here for lunch having read good reviews and the extensive salad menu on the website. We were surprised to be greeted by a not-particularly-welcoming lady who informed us that the website was from the previous owners and she didn't do that menu. She said that she'd be ill (TMI) and all that was on offer salad-wise was a seed/lentil bake (which looked v dry) with a bit of iceberg lettuce, tomato and, I think, cucumber.
We left and went to Gracie's across the road where we had a lovely Greek salad served by v friendly, helpful staff. Wish they were on Trip Advisor as we'd give them 5 stars!

Such a shame that what use to be a very regular morning breakfast stop now feels unwelcoming. It has a changed ownership but does lack something now, have tried a few times but sorry you need to look at how you present yourselves.

We often eat in Simply Delicious when we are in Leiston.
Two tables with a view of the street and papers to read. Also settees further back in the cafe.
Loose leaf tea and very scrummy scones.
We shall visit again when staying locally (oh and free wifi).
