We were made very welcome although only staying a few days. Lovely fruit cake when we arrived. Everything there we required. Well placed for exploring North Norfolk. Hope to go back sometime

“Perfect Place to rest and Relax”
Reviewed 28 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed at Acorn Cottage for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. It was a perfect place to relax. We had our German Shepherd Tess with us the garden was great for her to run around in as it was fully enclosed and safe. We found lots of pleasant walks through Bacton Woods and along the Preston way. It was a perfect central location for exploring the country and coast.. Janet made our stay by baking a cake for us on arrival and was always on hand to help if needed. Thanks for a really lovely stay and we hope to see you again.

“Lovely Cottage”
Reviewed 21 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We have just got back from a 3 night stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage was lovely and spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The town of North Walsham was only a short walk away. Janet, the owner, was lovely and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, with tea, coffee, milk and homemade fruit cake which was yummy! Would definitely go back and recommend to others who wish to stay in the area.

“Acorn Cottage is a Dream Cottage”

What a lovely cottage, everything you need is supplied, the cottage is compact but surprisingly spacious too, very comfy bed, lots of light and windows a lovely fully enclosed garden for the dog and even some treat for her on arrival.
Also a welcome tray and super home made cake.
North Walsham shops a 5min walk ,same with the local park . The cottage is close to the town and yet feels rural I would highly recommend this Holiday to anyone.

“Perfect retreat”
Reviewed 27 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

My wife and I (and our dog) wanted a quiet few days away. We needed somewhere with easy access, and Acorn Cottage was ideal.Janet had provided home-made cakes on our arrival, plus tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge. Despite the weather, we were out every day, Norwich was 20 minutes in the car, and there were several nearby beaches to stroll along. Would recommend Acorn Cottage as a base to explore the area.
