My husband, our dog Max and I stayed at Primrose Barn for the second time last week (before the snow arrived !). Last visit was September 2017 for one week, this time we went for 4 nights with friends (and their dog) who stayed at Cowslip Barn.

Once again we had a truly wonderful relaxed time - the barns are very well appointed, clean and feel luxurious, (the bed is so comfortable that it is hard to get up in the morning - snuggling under the vast duvet seems a great option) - the wood burners warming and cosy that even during the cold frosty mornings and evenings, we felt really relaxed.

Had supper cooked for us four by Louisa on the first night - absolutely delicious and tons of food - all brought over to Primrose by John from their farmhouse kitchen. John and Louisa yet again were warm, welcoming and so friendly to us all. Our friends had heard so much about our September 2017 stay there and were delighted that their mini-break at Cowslip proved to be as good as we had described.

The barns are conveniently placed for the amazing beaches - the dogs loved frolicking and playing on the vast sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkam, Burnham Overy-Staite and Wells Next The Sea. We had superb pub lunches at The Golden Fleece in Wells Next The Sea and the Hero at Burnham Overy-Staite after long bracing walks on the beaches that go on for miles and miles.

It was once again lovely to be welcomed by John's warm smile, a loaf of delicious bread that he makes and the light and tasty homemade lemon drizzle cake - a big slice went down very well with a large cuppa when we arrived after our 4 hour journey from Kent.

Max (dog), my husband and i really look forward to our next visit .....

When writing reviews it is always hard to think of what hasn't already been written before, but after a stay at this fabulous North Norfolk Hideaway it has to be said that it was the perfect place to stay.
From the first telephone booking and on speaking to the owners John and Louisa we were looking forward to returning once again to Norfolk.
We were greeted on arrival to The Cowslip barn by John, a delicious lemon cake and red tulips waiting for us along with milk and fresh home made bread.
Our barn was lovely, very quiet, luxury toiletries, great log burner and nothing at all to fault. The shower was hot and powerful, always a brilliant plus point! The setting was wonderful, at the end of a lane in a quaint Norfolk village only a few miles from the coast.
White horse farm barns are ones to recommend and a place we will remember.
It's nice to try somewhere new for a holiday, but this place will take some beating, we might be back!

Room tip: Four of the barns are self catering, one barn is a b&b.

Spent another perfect Christmas at Primrose Barn. As usual a lovely welcome by John & Louisa. Many thoughtful touches including beautiful Christmas decorations. A splendid area to visit, excellent beaches for the dogs & good eateries and pubs (The Wiverton Bell & The Lifeboat at Thornham) all within easy reach.

This was our first visit to this part of the country and White Horse Farm was a superb place to stay - both in location and in comfort We were met by John who took us to the barn and gave us the tour! We stayed in Blackberry Barn - all mod cons, log fire, spacious, comfortable. Parking is available in a small lay-by that is on the road adjacent to the property..the road is very very quiet.

The location of the farm is excellent - only 5 min drive from the main road, but with all the smaller roads available nowhere was far. We were pretty close to Cromer, Holt, Fakenham, Cley, Wells, Blakeney and Morston, The weather wasn't too kind to us, but we had a lovely break nonetheless...so at the height of summer, this would be an absolutely beautiful place to stay.

All-in-all, this is a great place to stay.
