Stayed in this hotel for work. Very basic hotel that could do with a bit of updating. Light bulbs at either side of headboard were different colours as shown in photo! Food at the attached restaurant was very good value for money and would highly recommend.
Accommodation was everything you would expect from a Premier Inn and it did not disappoint. Quiet nights sleep and very good value for money. Beware though, the location is isolated and you will need to drive to find anywhere decent to eat (see reviews of "The County" which is just over a mile away.) and avoid the "Hungry Horse" adjacent.
Stayed here for two nights while up in the area to visit Beamish. Rooms were clean, tidy and good value for money. Fan in room and sheets available in the hot weather. House keeping left us a mini fridge for our milk and drinks which was a lovely touch. Staff all very friendly. Breakfast was good over at the hungry horse next door. Only downside was noise from the upstairs rooms. Would recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay in this area
