With friends, and having booked, visited again and as previously the service was quick and friendly, There is an extensive lunch menu with daily specials and two chose game pie, one a chicken dish and myself a steak. All were very good, well cooked, hot and tasty and with more than adequate vegetables. Similarly a good range of desserts and my own chocolate molten cake with ice-cream was very tasty. With coffee the bill at some £95 excluding tip was good value and we will continue to go there - it is in a quiet country setting and we could have sat outside as others did.
