This is a lovely modern hotel with helpful staff. Excellent room , good bathroom and storage space.Calm and relaxing- just what you need prior to hectic temple visits. Very nice breakfast. Journey from Kanchipuram to Chennai through dense factory areas, high level of pollution. Truly awful.Incorporate Kanchipuram visit on a route to avoid this return to Chennai.More

The hotel is located on gandhi road - the main shopping area and also to the main temples. The rooms are clean, comfortable with basic amenities.However we found the restaurant service to be a tad slow, but overall good.

We stayed for a day in GRT Regency. My booking was done through on line and nearing our stay, we found a better price in make my trip site. When enquired the staff said when you go to payment process, it will show same or slightly lower price only, no big difference will be there. So my suggestion is to check thoroughly before booking this hotel. Very expensive for a town like kanchipuram. Rooms were decent and reasonably big in size. restrooms could have been slightly bigger. Service was very good. Parking is a major problem. when we came back after a wedding reception, the security coolly says, park the car on the road, nothing will happen. Up on insisting, they showed us a basement parking, which will really test your driving skills and reversing skills. They need work on this. On top of it, they dont have valet drivers, so tough time ahead if it is self driven.

The check in process was nightmarish after which it set fairly low expectations of our stay. The hotel was adequate with no frills. The food for dinner and lunch which we had as room service was just about adequate. However the breakfast was far better. The staff are friendly and there is a car park for one's vehicle along with a dorm for the driver. The hotel is in the heart of town close to the temples and sari shops.

The stay at GRT was very comfortable and enjoyable. Good food good care and all is a good about the hotel staff are very polite. The hotel is clean and well located. South Indian dishes were extremely tasty.

Stayed here for one night. Nice comfortable room and good facilities. We had our dinner .... and the Chef himself was on the floor and took very good care of our needs. He even arranged for some french fries for my daughter on his own .. which is really appreciated. Thank You for the attention and care during our stay.
