A wonderful experience and there are games and you win prizes as well ! There is a swimming pool and a slide for kids and grown-ups the pool is clean all the time it was really an amazing trip keep it up!

Good service and well design infrastructure. If you planning to go Matheran must stay in Kumar plaza. Swimming Pool, Dance Club, Magic show, Karaoke etc. Room Stayed in Super deluxe AC room - room was spacious and we'll maintained, toilet was clean. Bedsheets, pillow cover, and bed were clean, little light fluctuation experienced but it was well backed up by generator.

Stayed in Super deluxe AC room - room was spacious and we'll maintained, toilet was clean. Bedsheets, pillow cover, and bed were clean, little light fluctuation experienced but it was well backed up by generator. Hot water was available for two hour but hot water made available through buckets whenever asked for.
Toiletries, hot water kettle, coffee/sugar/milk pouch not provided, should be included in atleast higher cost rooms.
Rooms not facing swimming pool are much bigger than those facing swimming pool.
Food:
Package was inclusive of all three meals and high tea.Dinner,BF,& lunch was really tasty and well organized. Area could have been more clean.
High tea was big let down with no cleanliness, limited option of snacks, and poor maintenance.
Staff & Front desk, Admin:
Here hotel scores big. The staff is well behaved, well cultured, polite, supportive.
Other activities and playing options:
Big plus point is Swimming pool, well maintained well accessable.
Dance lounge is also great place to be after 9 pm, with descent DJ playing awesome songs.
Magic show was a big hit, we loved it thoroughly.
Carrom, chess, TT options are there but not maintenaned, not organized and of no use due to space.
Location:
It is 500 mtr from station gate near to khandala point. Well accessable. Good part is it is close to city but away from crowd. If you are traveling with elder ones with knee or leg issues just precautionary advice that Kumar plaza has stairs to climb for everything.

It was quick & smooth. Vandana was great help.
Suggestion:
-Negotiate better even though the offers seems great hotel, horse, hand pulled car etc...
-Keep cash with you when you travel to Matheran, no operational ATMs
- Beaware of monkeys
- Enjoy the nature.
