:D hi all,

had been to rappa this saturday, felt very good as soon we reached this place,
we were greeted by sibi with his canine,:)

we then entered our cottage, small yet clean, from the cottage, we can view the backwaters and the island opposite,

it has a chill weather, u will enjoy the cold breeze.

Kayaking is the best thing here, it's all urs, have great fun.

food is also good, no complains,

canines will be around you, so no need to worry about any reptiles.

on the whole, for people who love nature, it's good place.

Do not expect A/C's
Do not expect Geysers / hot water

:):) The Rappa…. :):)
What an amazing place, the beauty of nature is exposed.
Vijay the owner.. so down to earth n is a best pal u can get… If you are lucky like me… May be you can have a drink with him.
Sibi…. Hmm what to say about him… one of the calmest and sharpest kind hearted person…  Will make sure the basic necessities are met. :)
The dining place is a place to observe.. different tables and chairs all out of wood.. it is unique as again u will have huge wheels and artistically designed chairs to be sat in different postures.. :)
The bright day, cold and calm water, an island full of trees where u can rest on the bank the whole day with friends or even alone.
You can hear the birds chirp… Also spot some rare and beautiful birds.. :)
No one to bother you or disturb you, best of all is u can also have food and camp fire on the island.(This is only for special people like us :):)
Kayaking is the best part, if u r a first timer then u will not take more than 2 min to learn and u will not get out of it for at-least 2 hours.
Oh.. While u kayak you will have your buddy’s Milo, Dadda, Silly, Tutsi, Shunti and Tingo.… swim along.. :)
They will be around you till the last minute of your stay and entertain you, guess what’s their demand for the same… love n pet them in return. Such friendly one’s….
The rooms are so cozy and natural, very close to nature no extra show or luxury but plain requirement to make you feel close to the nature(Repetitive). Food is the best you can ask for, delicious and variety good enough to relish. And yes do not forget to asK for coffee, which is prepared specially here so yummeee… :)
The best place recommended for people who wanted to be close to the nature with the hospitality… :):):)
:):)

Room Tip: The place is so good you will have difficulty in choosing the type of rooms as all are different in...

THE RAPPA ---A place if you really wanna let loose urself and realize wat freedom is ,to start with Vijay and Sibi (two are insanely amazing people who know how to keep life simple and happy) vijay opens up with people like a shaken bottle of beer but sibi is a tough one to open ,six guards Dadda, Milo, Titsy, Silly, Shunti... Tingo are 24/7 to entertain you .....about Rappa its not a place for planned vacation it a place which will make you realize wat are you missing in life imp (ther are no Do`s and Dont`s as long as ur not a pain. and people commenting on food please they waste huge amount of it everyday but never say no when u want to have food and itz provided to you fresh ,we travelled 780 kms which was hectic but the min we stepped in trust me we dint knw were to start our fun with ,never miss the jeep ride with vijay ,an amazing trip gives u the thrill and pleasure of findin a burnout location for urself i am droping this comment after a month and still my memories are fresh ,
MY ADVISE if u really wanna be ther these are the TIPS:
1 Dont expect or assume just live the moment .
2 Dont expect a five star treatment cuz this place is not comercialized for you to treated like customers its run for their satisfaction which they share ,
3 try to live in the tree house
4 do not sleep at night prefer day to sleep anywher apart from the tents cuz they get hot ..

I am done waiting to hit back soon ,,this place will never get bored .....;););););););):):);););););)

Room Tip: Tree house

I recommend this place for the ones who want something real to go by.
Great place to say, good blend of hosts in the likes of Sibil and Vijay. They both add variations to the entire place,Vijay being an nature enthusiast and a Sailor! and Sibil being one to keep the place in a very good shape. Both are wonderful characters if you know them properly. The place is indeed a embodiment of nature and it's more like an Ashram of freedom. No holds barred talks with Vijay was great(mostly unilateral talk) as he is good at what he does and says. Some may find him too poky and interfering, but truth be told he seems to be an exception to the rule of conservatism and mannerisms which in today's world is mostly fake and formal!.
