We had one night in this charming hotel. The staff tried to be helpful and the food was interesting. We stayed on the third floor. It was fun sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. We ended up moving to another hotel that was better value.

- hotel had clean rooms.
- room space was adequate(we 3 people stayed in one room).
- reached hotel at night 10pm and left next morning 6am, so couldn't explore or interact much.
- good thing was hotel has restaurant which served good quality food(home like) and was the only one accessible/open at the time we reached the place.
- owner asked us to where we were travelling at the time of checkout and guided us. the information helped a lot

Room tip: hilly area, so top floor rooms have better view - go for backside facing rooms

During visit to Manikaran from Manali I stayed for one day in Hotel. I had asked hotel owner if he can arrange taxi to Manikaran. He said yes I can arrange @ Rs 2300/-. Whereas I asked from taxi union for the same, he said @1850/- for same car i.e swift dzire But taxi came after an hour, till then I had changed my mind and decided not to go. But Taxi driver asked and pay 300/- for hiring taxi considered local tour. Hotel owner pressurized us to Pay 300/- to taxi driver also. At I had pay 100/- and get rid of. Never ask Hotel Wala for arranging taxi. Go 4 Google & search himself.

Absolutely.. Don't fall the photos, it's all cropped. I booked the hotel looking at the photos and it seems to be in a nice open place with blue skies at the back. But in real, BELIEVE ME, it's in the middle of the busy market, on a narrow road. They don't have any parking space for themselves. The steps of the hotel start from the main road. The balcony of the hotel looks so very shady that you wouldn't look twice at it.
We some how did manage to reach in front of the hotel and just looking at the outlook of the place, we didn't have the courage to step in the hotel. Like the photos of the outside was cropped, I'm dam sure the inside room photos too are cropped. We even let go of our advance payment of Rs 5000/- to the hotel. So you can imagine how is the actual hotel. It's not even worth the price you see on the trip advisor.
Infact, just 5-6 km down the road, you'll find much better hotels. We stayed in JJ Resorts and this place was very good.
