The peak is there along with a temple and you have to climb about 1000 steps. Unless you are fond of climbing I feel it is not worth the climb

I have visited Dainkund peak during my visit of Dalhousie. It is small easy trek (mostly steps) which any one can do even with kids (4+ years). View from the peak is breathtaking. If you are in Dalhousie then this is the must visit place.

It's a good trek with lovely views once you reach the temple. In the beginning there is a steep hike, but don't get disheartened as after 200 meters it become simple. Will take 2 hrs for going and return.

Very interesting walk to Dainkund peak. The climb is somewhat steep but you would be rewarded with some awesome views.

Dainkund Peak is one of the tallest peaks in Chamba District.. A unique experience to reach the place and then a wonderful experience climbing the peak.. It a great trekking place for naive people.... On Climbing the peak the view is just remarkable.. Once we reach the top we can trek and go to the 'Pohlani Mata Temple' a famous temple for the Local People.. The trekking experience to temple is just amazing with the hills on both the sides of the narrow road..But the government should construct barriers on both the sides of the road for people who travel to the temple... Overall a risky but an adventurous ride.A must visit place.....:)
