We went for a business dinner after a day of work. The experience overall was very good. The menu is relatively small but it was full of things I was interested in trying. We ended up choosing the calamari appetizer and I ordered the braised short ribs over polenta. The calamari was very good. I personally prefer the tentacles, however somebody in our party did not like the appearance. They preferred rings. I thought it tasted great. It was drizzled with a white sauce which complimented it nicely. There were four of us and we each got a decent amount.

The braised short ribs were very good. Very tender. The garlic jam they were served with was very good. The polenta was a little bland, but overall the dish was full of flavor.

For dessert we ordered the cannoli (which comes with three) and the tiramisu. They were pretty good. Nothing to write home about.

The drinks were good. Their smoked manhattan is excellent. I would definitely recommend.

Overall, food was good. I will say it was a bit pricey. My entree was $34 I believe. Not a great value, but still good.

If you're looking for some good contemporary Italian food, this is a good choice.

The atmosphere and the friendliness of this place are the best. The appetizers, drinks and entrees were all delicious but even as hip and centrally downtown located, the prices are disproportionate for the items. For example, 4 regular size "trendy" fried ravioli for $16. Local craft beer at $12. Should you try it? Yes, at least once.

This was a pleasant surprise as the reservations were made by my running coach. It was within walking distance from the hotel (~.3 miles) and surrounded by other restaurants and shops. In fact, a sidewalk fair was going on over the weekend where you could buy candles, arts and crafts, raw honey, trinkets, etc. Once inside the restaurant, there was a bar section with a TV showing the football game as well as a dining area. The menu offered a plethora of Italian entrees to choose from. I chose the spicy sausage pizza which was ultra good while my friend had the spaghetti with veal meatballs. She consumed her meal in 10 minutes. She was super hungry and the food was so good. My pizza was too much for me to consume in one seating although I tried. It was that good! Plus the waitresses behind the bar were very attentive keeping my water glass full. And the surrounding clientele were also friendly. All in all it made for a great dining experience!

In Town for the national Girl Scout convention and after 3 days as an exhibitor and Scout in a noisy hall, a slower, quieter place was in order. Went with my work and Girl Scout colleague. We both had the salmon with black rice and it
Was just the thing after a long weekend. I had a lovely glass of wine and topped it off with a chocolate mousse that was more food than I needed but a wonderful treat. Our waiter was very helpful and i have nothing but good things to say about the service.

Starting with the inside, it's very interesting. There is a lot of exposed brick that really adds to the setting. Overall very nice interior. The service was exceptional. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.
There were 5 of us in the group and for the most part everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the rabbit which I was really looking forward to, I was the one person who was just so so with mine. I thought is was just way to sweet. My brother had fried egg plant which I'd never had before and I thought is was pretty good. The others had pasta dishes that they liked.
Taste is different for everyone but if you haven't been it's worth the visit.
