“Excellent food and atmosphere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2011

The restaurant serves up both a very warm atmosphere and excellent food choices. The caprese salad is unlike any other I have had here in the states or in Italy -- worth trying. The "Fileto Manzo" is incredible. Prices were very reasonable. I would easily go there again when I am back in town.

“Friendly Clintonville Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2011

We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Here is a good selection food and nice wines to accompany the meal. We also like a cocktail now and then and have found the bar staff very capable. The Tiramisu is a must! I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff and owners! They have really nice jazz on some evenings and wine tastings of excellent wines by a passionate wine expert. This is a great addition to the Columbus restaurant scene and I love that it is in Clintonville.

“Wonderful surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2011

Paid a visit this evening due to local restaurant week promotion . Have been there before and always good food. Tonight had one of the best meals of my life: pork tenderloin that was prepared to perfection. Beginning course a lemon, basil pasta salad that's was outstanding. Wine tasting event also ta king place that added to the ambiance. A very well kept se ret in town that is coming into it's own and worth a try.

“A great little find in north Columbus”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2011

We tried this restaurant the first time in cold winter, then recently stopped in again to see if it was as good as we thought. It is. It is not a big place, but is has a warm and cozy atmosphere, with subdued lighting. Smallish menu highlights the talents of the chef, which are many. Very good service. Small, select wine list with many good labels and very low prices. Pastas are freshly made, entrees are inventive, all served hot. We plan to go to this place again for my wife's 60th b-day with our large group of wine friends.

“Worth seeking out!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2009

Off the beaten path for most visitors to Columbus, Giorgio is an unassuming, friendly and very delicious Italian restaurant in the south Clintonville neighborhood, north of OSU campus. If you're hungry for authentic Italian food in a beautiful but unpretentious setting, you will not be disappointed. Giorgio benefits from a friendly, attentive staff, a knowledgeable kitchen and a capable bar. We have never been disappointed with any meal or drink there.

Restaurants that are both entirely kid-friendly (thoughtful and inexpensive children's menu, crayons & other accommodations) and sophisticated enough for an important date or anniversary are few and far between, and Giorgio does both with style and earnestness. Warmly recommended. Great Sunday brunch menu as well!
