We stayed on points this past weekend for the Elton John concert at the Q and to celebrate our anniversary. As you'd expect, great valet, check-in experience. They truly do make you feel important. When we returned from the concert and a little casino time, there was a bottle of champagne on ice w/ chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room.
Property and rooms are spotless and in a great location. If the weather is bad, you can walk to the Q, Progressive Field, and Casino without going outside.
I gave it only four stars only because of the value. On points, it's great but the regular rate was over $700. I realize there was a big event in town and the Browns had a home game the next day, but I really couldn't say anything that would justify $700+ for a room. I know, it's the Ritz, but there are multiple hotels in the city that offer a clean, well-appointed room for much less.
Bottom line, you pay a very high price (unless you use points) for outstanding service and a very nice property in a great location. If price is of no concern, the Ritz is perfect.More
