Owner description: Tour the submarine responsible for the sinking of nearly 30,000 tons of Japanese ships during WWII.

Overall, this attraction is great! The only downside is the fact that the main deck of the ship only has a rope to stop anyone from going overboard. It's just not a safe attraction to take young kids (ages 1-3) who want to run around on deck and don't know any better. Also, the ladders to go below deck are straight up and down.Trying to hold the ladder with one hand and carry a 3 year old with the other hand was quite a chore. Once down below, it was a fantastic experience, and there is some really neat history here. We will definitely be going again, but without our 3 year old

This was a hidden gem in Cleveland. It is a submarine from World War 2. It is just down the road from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For a small admission fee you can walk on and in this awesome submarine. One word of warning though.. if you are not in somewhat good physical shape you might not want to enter the submarine. It is very compacted and cramped. Lets you get an insight into how difficult life aboard must have been.
The staff are a little aloof and seem like they could care less if you come in or not. Other than that if was a great experience.

This is an interesting place to visit. I would suggest everyone go at least once. Be careful if your really tall, its all very low ceilings.

We stopped by here during our recent trip and were surprised at the fun we had. It was a nice attraction and the folks have done a great job renovating the sub. We didnt do the tour as the children were a little obnoxious, but the guide was extremly knowledgeable and attempted to assist us with any questions.

Definently not a tour if you are not mobile (able to climb up and down ladders and through tight spaces). Other than that I would say you should go if you have the time or are going to be in the area with a little time to blow.

Visiting the Cod was a phenomenal experience. Every time I have been there several volunteer veterans work to help give you a personal tour through the sub. They are friendly and have lots of knowledge and pride in the ship. It is a great experience and makes you proud to be an American.
