“Beautiful cottage, very generous in size and great location”

Beautiful property, very well presented and deceptively large for a cottage. Three generous double bedrooms, two of which can either be twin beds or pushed together to make a super king, but we used all as doubles - back bedroom also has an en suite.

Living room had a wood burning fireplace which gives out a lot of heat and is a great place to socialise around in the evening. Kitchen and dining room were a great size and the modern and traditional furnishings worked well together, although we didn't use the big range cooker! Cottage also has a garden with seating so you can sit outside and enjoy the sun in privacy which is really nice!

Parking on the street can be a problem, but the property has its own garage and off-street gated drive, so no worries during peak season. Prime location for local pubs (would recommend The Waterside and The Royal Standard), village shop and water taxi across to Falmouth. Visited a lot of different things in the area, Flushing is a great base - most attractions in Cornwall within 1hr!

“Great place to stay”

We normally stay Falmouth side but decided to go for a change and try Flushing which is across the Penryn river. My wife 12 year old daughter and our chihuahua Gizmo were also with me. The cottage is very well equipped the beds were comfy and can't really fault anything. The off road parking is great for one car and in Flushing is a god send. The only thing is the cottage picture as you look at it from the front is actually two cottages, we thought is was detached.
Overall we had a great week here. The cottage is perfect for exploring the coast from Flushing to Mylor and is great for dog walking. The river taxi's are great and plentiful and one mobile phone call and they are there in 10 mins. The local pubs are great but especially the Royal Standard. It is dog friendly and the ale and food is great.

I've also got to mention how good Stuart the manager of these cottages is. We had a little issue at the start of the holiday and he rectified it very quickly and professionally and wouldn't hesitate to use any cottages on this site.

A cracking week and a definite recommend
