We could not have asked for better accommodation in Port Elliot. Clean, spacious and close to everything. Would definitely stay there again in the future. Thoroughly recommended.

This property is excellent. Clean, well furnished, small things like bathroom and toilet supplies. Excellent tourist guides supplied, reading materials if you want to put your feet up. This house is like home, and the owners present it as such. Went there with three friends for a lawn bowls tournament and suited us extremely well. Plenty of room so you never felt crowded. Just around the corner from Port Elliott shopping strip with hotel, chicken shop and renowned bakery - all within 5 minute walking distance. Nice and quiet at night, and a short 10 min drive to Victor Harbor.

Received a very good response from the owners, Helen and Jack, who were good to deal with. They went out of their way to ensure that arrangements were in place for our arrival late in the evening and contacted me to make sure that we had accessed the house okay.
The house was very well appointed with just about everything that you could want or look for in a holiday house.
Found the weather different than in Canberra and the temperature felt colder (must be the ozone). Consequently, I would have appreciated heaters in the bedroom or electric blankets. The reverse cycle heating in the lounge worked well, but the warmth did not really get into the bedrooms. Appart from that point, however, it was a good stay, albeit short.
