Was a good few nights at the Irish, big thanks to the friendly staff and the great meals. Rooms are basic but clean, neat and tidy.

The meals are truly outstanding. The staff seem mostly from europe and seem to run a very good hotel.

Hi Rainbow B,

Our business has recently undergone huge renovations and a change in management. Things are very different and have definitely improved!

Hope you visit our fresh digs next time you're in Roma,

This was the only rooms left in Roma, the town being totally booked out due to mining workers. This is really a backpackers accommodation, and poorly maintained at that. My family of four had to take two separate rooms, the second room only given to us after trying twice to find the right one, third time lucky. Tiny rooms, with just a bed and sink. Shared bathrooms, and for the females you were requested to leave the doors open! Light was blown in the female shower, and also in the filthy common room. The common room fridge stank most likely from rotten food not cleaned out for a long while. Male bath and toilet was almost outdoors, outside of the main building, and down some stairs. Really noisy at night with pub noise and live entertainment going late into the night. You have to be desperate to stay here.

we checked this pub out on facebook, thought it sounded ok. arrived Sunday afternoon football time, very loud music and patrons. decor was great, poorly lot stairs tho, dangerous. rooms very old, a/c spilt system didn't work. no hot water in female showers in the morning, not impressed. female toilet covered in vomit in morning and second toilet didn't flush. poor value for money. bistro served a nice pub meal.
