Had not heard of Tamarind but based on Trip Advisor reviews decided on a visit. Well, what an excellent night! The food was delicious, service excellent ( friendly, prompt and lovely waitresses) and setting superb. Our taste buds were treated to the fresh and sublime flavored lime and lemongrass in green chicken curry to the deep rich beef rendang followed by a black rice pudding - salty - balanced perfectly crunchy little meringues and pumpkin ice cream. We would highly recommend a visit. We will be making a annual pilgrimage to Tamarind.

The 3 course lunch was only $110p.p. plus drinks. We were quite surprised by this as anything owned by "Skroo" Turner of Flight Centre fame is usually a ripoff. We had Mooloolaba Prawns and Confit salmon for entrée followed by Roasted Moreton Bay Bug and Whole crispy snapper as mains. We topped it off with Sticky Black rice for dessert.
The Asian style Christmas meal was different for us but very enjoyable. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive.

We were lucky enough to be given a 3 course lunch gift when we purchased our new car. Wow! wow! Wow! To the wonderful meal. Every course was so different in flavour, texture, too hard to choose which dish to have at each course. And beautiful setting to enjoy your meal in. Lots of wildlife in the gardens & attentive staff.

Our family and friends, including my 6yo son, enjoyed a fantastic celebratory lunch that catered to all our tastes! The orange curry is extraordinary and each seafood option from the entrees and main dishes were delicious. We also loved the duck. My son was taken with the prawn twisters and lotus chips. The staff were wonderful and helpful, explaining each option and the level of spiciness, thank you Michelle and Ciaran. Renato is also a very knowledgeable and attentive sommelier and was always a step ahead of us before we needed anything. We had a fun visit from local wildlife, there are water dragons galore here, and enjoyed sitting under the huge trees on a sunny yet cool Summer day, it is a pretty place. Free parking, free wifi, seamless service and wheelchair friendly. We loved it.
