Room was nicely decorated. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. However the breakfast menu was limited and need to include cereals . Disappointed that you are charged for extras at breakfast eg cappuccino.

The Daintree Eco Lodge is a beautiful part of the Daintree Forest to stay and relax. The villa we stayed in looked over a peaceful bubbling creek and we were face to face with the trees of the Daintree. The sounds of birds was relaxing and you can see the brush turkeys walking around below you. The creek gently flowing. The mesh from the balcony kept the insects outside. The blinds allowed the cool breeze through. The restaurant serves great food and the people serving you are very friendly and helpful. My only regret is not staying longer. It is close to the Daintree Village and various boat tours and about 10 kilometers from the Daintree Ferry.

The new manager certainly knows how to deliver a 5 star treatment. Full body scrub, vishy shower and full body massage. Its a treatment I've had many times in numerous parts of the globe... Im in heaven and planning another visit very soon.

My husband stayed a few days in a recently renovated Rainforest Banyan. The room was beautiful, and the balcony tub was a very welcome sight. The new bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.

The water bottles are lovely touch and reinforces the "Eco" facet.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped. As others mentioned, bug spray is very helpful, but this should not be surprising as it is the rainforest.

The staff was very welcoming and extremely help with recommended and setting up bookings for tours.

There are areas that still need some work, but you can tell that the owners are making a serious effort to bring the lodge up to a higher level.

From being met at our cottage to the food and attention to detail we loved it here.
The setting is quiet, private and falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest was magical. Great swimming hole plus pool. We took a guided tour of the plants on the property also great for kids. Just a perfect break between deep rainforest and reef...

Thank you Karen,
it was an absolute pleasure to host your stay with us. We're pleased to read that you enjoyed our guided rainforest walk-it does provide quite an amazing insight into the plantlife and wildlife , as well as the history and culture of the property and the broader Daintree.
