Description: Daintree Village is a peaceful little village nestled on the banks of the majestic Daintree River. The Village is a “must –do” for visitors to the iconic tropical north, as it is the stepping stone to the World Heritage Daintree rainforest, the most ancient rainforest in the world, as well as home to an impressive selection of wildlife…perhaps most famously, the estuarine crocodile..and there are plenty of them around! Daintree Village Hotel is located at the heart of the Village, perched over the river jetty, where crocodile tours depart regularly. The DVH serves meals throughout the day, kicking off with fabulous espresso coffee, and big brekkies for those setting off on adventures into the green… Naturally, our draught beers are icy cold, our craft beers are unique, our wine selection is perfect for lazy afternoon sessions, the aforementioned coffees are made with love and skill, and you’ll find hearty tender steaks, crocodile, scones, salt & pepper calamari, juicy burgers, chicken parma's and all the regular Aussie pub favourites plus a few unexpected culinary delights to ensure your visit to Daintree is nothing less than memorable! Other services include General Store, Bottle Shop, tour booking desk and ATM. See you at the DVH soon!

We're pleased you could escape the wet season heat and humidity over a cold brew Lisa!

We came here for lunch whilst on a family day trip from our holiday rental in Wonga. The Hotel is nestled in a friendly and historically fascinating village setting. Friendly and accommodating staff provide tasty and nicely presented food and delicious teas. Highly recommend. A must-visit!

We enjoyed dinner at the Daintree Village Hotel, the portions were so huge we didn't have room for dessert...sigh!

Nice variety to choose from, very tasty steak, pizzas, fish!

Indoor seating is open to outdoors, so can be difficult to avoid cigarette smoke.

We only had a short hour between tours for lunch and the Daintree Village Hotel was perfect! I had a keen desire to taste some local barramundi and at this place it was cooked to perfection.... crispy skin, tender fish and yummy salad and fries. Our teenage son decided the Brahman Burger was the best hes ever eaten.. with a delicious helping of caramelized onion.
Mackeral and chips were also really delicious.
The nicest part of our visit here though was the engaging hospitality of the manager and cook in the kitchen. Thank you so much guys for making our lunch experience one of the day's highlights! We will look forward to returning next time we visit.

The beer-battered spanish mackerel and chips were one of the most amazing ones I have ever tasted. Unlike many disappointing ones from Brisbane, the batter was lightly fried and not greasy, and the fish's texture was beautiful! The accompanying salad was refreshing, providing the palate a rest from the fried taste of the fish and chips.

Lovely lunch from Chef Jen! :)
