A pleasant surprise from when previously at this hotel.
The staff were considerably courteous,and very professional.
Decor and rooms of a high standard.only had breakfast which was fair. Restaurant menu looked extensive ,will definitely try next time. Lounge bar comfortable, drinks expensive. Good for a relaxing weekend.

Stayed at this hotel for a night on a short break for a night.

We'd pre-booked a massage in the spa and also dinner in the restaurant. Upon arrival at the hotel we checked with reception that both of these reservations were OK, however the receptionist was unable to find them on her system and suggested that we checked with the restaurant team and spa. We were a little disappointed as we feel that she should have offered to do this by making a couple of calls instead of sending us off to various parts of the hotel to check ourselves! Thankfully both reservations were OK.

We enjoyed a nice time in the spa using the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The massage was good as we,l and all of the spa staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room we stayed in was nice however we did find an empty biscuit packet on the floor by the window next to the chair but the rest of the room was spotless.

Dinner was good in the restaurant and the food on the buffet was very nice which had been recommended to us by the waiter, however we did find the service very slow. Upon arriving at the restaurant we had to wait a few minutes before being acknowledged by one of the three staff that were there together looking at their paperwork. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived however the drinks took about 10 minutes to be served and we had to remind the waiter about them.

We went for a drink in the bar and found it odd that the hotel didn't have a drinks menu but the bar staff were happy to make any drinks that you asked for. But there was no way of knowing what you'd be charged for any cocktails without the price list or a menu!

Breakfast was good and was pretty busy however we were seated fairly promptly and served tea/coffee swiftly. On

The only downside was that the food, in particular the bacon, on the buffet was either running low or had run out and upon speaking to another guest who had stayed the night before, the bacon hadn't been topped up on the previous day either. Thankfully some more was brought out after we asked about.

I would stay here again as it was a nice hotel, well decorated and clean, however unfortunately for us we felt the staff weren't as attentive as they should have been to their guests needs.

Had a lovely girls break here - got a good deal by phoning the hotel directly to book. The stay included use of the pool, spa facilities, gym, breakfast and dinner. The facilities were good and the food was very nice. The only negative would be that the spa staff would come and check on the pool, etc, whilst wearing grubby trainers - there were shoe coverings available, which they really should be using just to maintain good hygiene standards. Other than that, it was a great mini break away from London.

My sister and I stayed there for a night for her birthday, and I needed to check in really early and they accommodated me and the staff, are so nice, we had room service for our meal that night and it was really lovely and they swapped bits on the menu for my sister. All in all it was fab and defo will go back x

The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard and is beautifully appointed. I went with friends for afternoon tea and found the staff very friendly and welcoming. The tea itself that was rather disappointing with several of the cakes being clearly shop bought and scones been rather dry. A pleasant afternoon if not memorable
