“cosy cottage with fantastic views walks pubs and local butchers shop”
Reviewed 20 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

What a fantastic few days we didnt use the car during our stay. Fab walks to suit your fitness and time available from the doorstep then theres either a trip to one of three local pubs or call into local butcher for excellent choice of goodies. Then you can relax in very comfy sofa or sit out in your own patio area with bradford dale views.
Thank you Philip and Susan

“Beautiful,peaceful cottage”
Reviewed 19 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My wife & i + max the dog stopped here from 15th-19th june 2015. Such a lovely cottage with fantastic views & loads of walks from the door step. The village is great, people sooo friendly+the butchers & deli shop was top notch. There was 3 pubs within walking distance. Only had meal at the farmyard inn, which was very nice. The only negative of staying here is the steep walk to the cottage, but got use to it by the end of our stay. We really didnt want to come home. Will be glad to re book this cottage again. Thankyou

“Lovely cosy cottage”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We have just spent four nights with our dog at this lovely cottage. It is a steep walk down the hill from where you can park your car, but the views are magnificent when you get there. Apart from supplies, if you're into walking, you don't really need to drive again, as there are many walks in the beautiful countryside from the doorstep. Also three great friendly pubs serving food in the village. Bakewell, Matlock, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all very close by.

“Lovely Cottage”
Reviewed 17 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Stayed here for 4 days. The cottage is lovely and the roof top terrace is lovely to sit out on in the good weather. The farm yard inn just up the road is perfect for good food and drink. The scenery of where the cottage is situated is lovely and the views around are stunning overall a great stay.
